Karina Muñoz Castro

Licenciada en Ciencias de la Educación y Psicoterapeuta Psicoanalítica de Niños y Adolescentes

Seventeen years of teaching experience and more than eight years as a psychotherapist have helped me to realise and understand that the education of a child is the fine art of getting the perfect balance between thinking, acting and feeling. If we learn by doing things, we discover the real sense and relevance of it, our daily experiences will easily turn into extraordinary experiences of constructing knowledge forever.

In Euroamerican College, we want to develop students with social and environmental empathy, and the skills needed to explore and discover the world around us; turning them into reflective students why who are aware of their strengths and in charge of their own learning process.

Rozanne Rendell-Dunn

Primary Coordinator

I am an international educator with over 25 years experience both as a teacher and school leader in the U.K, Spain and Peru.

My background of having grown up in a bilingual context, lived and worked in different countries has made me realize the importance of learning in a global context. The primary section of the school,
which I lead, caters for students aged 7 to 12. As our students work their way through primary they develop the knowledge and skills to become effective communicators, thinkers and inquirers following a transdisciplinary curriculum which focuses both on local and global contexts. I believe that we need to develop students with a strong
sense of international mindedness which is at the heart of all 21st Century education.

José Carlos Rosell Chacaltana

Coordinador de secundaria

Ofrecemos el entorno y las oportunidades necesarias para que los niños pequeños se relacionen con el mundo de un modo directo e interactivo.

Con el Programa de la Escuela Primaria del IB (PEP-PYP) que alienta un enfoque activo de enseñanza, los niños construyen significados a partir de la experiencia que tienen con el mundo social y físico que les rodea. La flexibilidad del PEP permite a los maestros apoyar el interés de los niños, fortalecer su autoestima y seguridad, así como respaldar el desarrollo de habilidades en todas las áreas cognitivas.

Carla Gloria Piscoya Salinas

“Act with passion and to live with integrity” is my
philosophy of life that I share with my students and
colleagues inside and outside the classrooms, because if we act with passion, we will be happy in what we do and if we support the others with integrity, we will live in armony with our society.
I am a teacher with more than 15 years of experience guiding and supporting children, teenagers and teachers in the academic field. In the same way, I am an IB international examiner with great experience in the Diploma Programme and act as consultant of academic projects.
