Recommendations for a good start to the school year in virtual mode

We will be starting the 2021 school year in the non-face-to-face modality and everyone at home must be prepared so that our children and adolescents are motivated and are guaranteed a stable learning environment. Good internet service It is important to hire a good internet service that allows our children to be connected and use educational digital tools during their class sessions. Likewise, that your technological devices such as PC, laptop, tablet, etc., are updated and in optimal condition with the webcam and audio working. Adequate environment and space It will be important to arrange the space in such a way that there is appropriate lighting and ventilation, in addition to not having distracting elements nearby or noise from the home that could interfere with adequate attention and concentration. Ensure that the home environment is the most appropriate to stimulate constant learning. Rest time It is necessary for our children to take a short break between each class, this way we will avoid stress. Likewise, it is recommended to carry out activities that involve movement, especially with the little ones. In addition, for children and adolescents, stretching and some breathing exercises will be important to be able to continue their classes with attention and interest. Good nutrition A good breakfast will allow you to start the day with great motivation and concentration. It is important that our children receive a balanced and nutritious diet that also includes adequate hydration, so snacks and other foods of the day should not be neglected at the relevant times. Habits and routines Although some routines may change when taking classes from home, it will be important to respect the moments of eating, relaxing, cleaning and, above all, complying with the hours necessary to rest at night. Likewise, it will be important to take care of one’s personal presentation when attending classes: neat hair, wearing a polo shirt without distracting designs, preferably the school uniform polo shirt, as this will allow the feeling of belonging to a group, forming a team and knowing that they are together. Establishing habits and routines will help our children enjoy and make better use of their virtual educational sessions, being able to advance without major inconveniences and in an appropriate learning environment.   Lic.
